| The Automobile industry, which takes a special place in the economic system of our country,is one of the main industries driving Chinese economic growth. The competition in the automobile industry is intense. The financial competitiveness is especially important, because it plays a decisive role to the enterprise's overall competitiveness. Therefore it put forward higher requirements to the financial competitiveness of auto industry.Great Wall Motor,as one of the largest manufacturers of SUV and pick-ups,brings more opportunities and development to Baoding and Hebei Province, and makes a special contribution to promote our economic growth. Therefore, it is very important for the Great Wall Motor to identify its own position in the fierce competition, to find its weaknesses and shortcomings, and to take appropriate strategies. Based on the above discussion, this article will conduct analysis on the financial competitiveness of the Great Wall Motor in order to identify its shortcomings and give suggestions accordingly.This article begins with introduction on the domestic and foreign scholars' studies of the financial competitiveness. Based on the studies, the article gives the definition of financial competitiveness, and compares the difference between financial competitiveness and enterprise competitiveness. Following, the article moves on to analyze the three factors of the enterprise's financial competitiveness. Under the guidance of the principles of constructing the evaluation system, the article will set up financial competitiveness evaluation system, and then chose 21 automobile manufacturing listed companies of 2014 as samples. With the help of factor analysis and the software SPSS22.0,the article evaluates its financial competitiveness and draws the corresponding scores and rankings. Finally, the article compares and analyzes their results to sum up the problems existing in the Great Wall Motor, and put forward specific measures based on suggested problems. |
