A Research On The Information Industry Of Urban Development In Beijing

With the rapid development of global information and technology revolution, the society has entered a phase of the modern city, which is informationization, network and intelligentization. Information technology, capital and other factors have a profound impact on the development of urban industries, the space form, and social activities. The information cities developed gradually with the appearance of global information. It is very urgent and significant to study the evolution and characteristics of urban structure in the information era.Combined with the internal and external theory on information industry and information city with many relevant factors, we defines information industry as electronic information equipment manufacturing and information services, and defines information city as a combination of information industry and traditional industry based on the use of information technology. And the information city has formed a new cultural space.Based on the theory of industrial integration and information city, this paper takes the empirical analysis of Beijing. According to the analysis of information industry development, the relationship between economic growth, and impact on industrial structure, employment structure and city culture of Beijing, we found that the influence degree of the information industry on economic growth gradually increase, the proportion of information industry remained stable and can drive the integration of industry and the tertiary industry. In addition, the information industry labor force of Beijing has been a growth trend in recent years. And its regional development is not balanced in the country even though it is in a leading position of China. And the treatment of Labour is not match the speed of development. In terms of urban culture, the development of information industry makes the number of internet socializers surging. People's life style changes gradually because of Internet.Based on the research conclusion above, combined with the basic situation of the information industry in Beijing, we suggest that Beijing should innovate industrial development mode, perfect the information service industry, strengthen personnel training and technological innovation, and increase the government's policy support to promote the further development of information industry rapidly in the future.
