Study On The Impact Of Guiyang-Guangzhou High-Speed Rail On Guizhou Economic Development

High-speed rail(HSR) with its fast, convenient, safe, comfortable,environmentally friendly, large capacity, low cost and so become the new trend of development of the railway. Vigorously to build HSR, and establish convenient transportation network system has become an important way of promoting economic development. Guizhou province, located in the western inland areas in China, is a typical karst distribution area in China. Because the characteristics of landform and ecological environment, Guizhou province has long been inaccessible and slow economic development. It has been one of the less developed provinces. In 2008,Guizhou Province officially started construction of the first HSR-Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR, it's built to become the most convenient rail southwest passage to the sea. It is beneficial to take advantage of Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR to promote economic development in Guizhou to get rid of the backward situation, by studying Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR impact on economic development in Guizhou Province.Based on a large amount of literatures in the relevant field from home and abroad,this paper made the following analysis:First, introduces the main effect of HSR on the regional economic development at home and abroad; Second, in-depth research of the basic elements, which HSR affect regional economic development, and HSR on the impact of these factors flow. And based on the analysis of how HSR have an effect on the entire regional economy through the flow of the elements, to find the temporal evolution mechanism of the impact of HSR on regional economic development.Third,Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR along the city in Guizhou as a main research area, to analysis of the change of HSR on accessibility and economic links between the city pattern. As well as reseach the function of this change on industry,employment,industry and employment structure, urban spatial structure and so on.Finally, make full use of Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR to speed up the economic development of the city along Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR in Guizhou based on findings.This paper have the following conclusions: Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR can enhance the accessibility and economic links between cities, which along Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR in Guizhou,as well as enhance the accessibility and economic links between this cities and Guilin and Guangzhou; the accessibility improvements of the cities along Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR in Guizhou in rendering the spatial distribution imbalance, because of the cities have different economic strength and kinds of basic conditions; Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR isconducive to develop industrial, increase employment, optimiza industrial and employment structure and upgrade the urban spatial structure and formate urban agglomeration for the city along Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR in Guizhou. But the cities need to actively seize the development opportunity, to prevent "siphon effect", take advantage of Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR to promote the economic development.
