Value Assessment Of Airport Slots Based On Market Deal

With economy and society in China developing continuously, civil aviation industry of China has entered the fast track of development, maintaining long-term rapid growth.Resources of airport slots are nervous in busy airports in our nation at present and capacity of airport slots in rush hours almost reached saturation. But the contradiction between air transport rapid growth in demand and insufficient supply capacity in airport slots becomes the new focus in civil aviation industry of China. In order to improve the utilization efficiency of airport slots, government gradually opens market deal environment. In this context, how to predict the value of the airport slots and making reasonable decisions becomes important for domestic airlines. Therefore, this paper proposes a method to assess airport slots value of airlines in China. It seeks to provide decision basis for airlines in choosing the airport slots.Firstly, domestic and international existing researches are summarized about airport slots value and the concept of airport slots value is defined and the related theory about resource scarcity, market deal and value. Secondly, summarize the present distribution way and market deal of airport slots. Again, systematically summarize the value factors of airport slots, using principal component analysis choosing the main factors which identify 10 factors, selecting main relevant factors and through BP neural network algorithm construct evaluation method of airport slots value. Finally, the X airline is studied to apply the above evaluation of airport slots value and make suggestions.
