| The airport take an important responsible of passengers and cargo turnover. As it contribute to over 70% the national annual passenger and cargo throughput, the production efficiency of the capital airport has a largely influence on airport development level of China. Due necessary attention should be given to the capital airport.Based on the operating characteristics of the airport industry, this research r summarizes and analyzes the research on the evaluation of airport efficiency based on the domestic and foreign literature. And this paper selectes the relevant indexes of airport production efficiency evaluation in accordance with the principle of index system construction. Meanwhile the operation environment of the airport is analyzed to find out the influence of the external environment factors. Then the three stage DEA model which can eliminate the influence of environmental factors is constructed, and the efficiency of the capital airport in the national capital airport from 2011 to 2013 is calculated. This research confirms the turnover of passengers and cargo mainly in hub airports, and the general efficiency of the capital airport is not high. While environmental factors on the production efficiency of airport does have some influence. These conclusions are consistent with the current development situation of provincial airport in China, which shows that the three stage DEA model is fit for the efficiency evaluation. In the end, the paper puts forward suggestions on the improvement of production efficiency of airport industry in China. |
