Research On The Export Trade Of Chinese Agricultural Products To South Korea

The economic and trade relations of China and South Korea have become increasingly close from 1992. China has become the largest trading partner in South Korea in 2014; South Korea is the third trading partner in China. China and the South Korea are important to each other in agricultural products trade.China has become the second importer in South Korea agricultural products trade, while South Korea is the fourth exporter of agricultural products in China, after Japan and Hong Kong of China in Asia.China has inherent advantages in resources and labor advantage.Korea has the advantages of advanced technology,focusing on agricultural products processing,this can promote the development of agriculture between the two countries.But South Korea in order to protect the country's agricultural market, and set a series of strict non-trade barriers and trade barriers, causing agricultural trade frictions between the two countries, which making some negative impact in China. Meanwhile,this also limited the diverse needs in South Korea.Therefore, the study of agricultural products from China to South Korea, not only promote the development of Chinese agricultural products,enhance the contribution of agriculture in national economy,but also enriching agricultural trade markets and meeting the consumer demand.Firstly, analyzing the situation and problems of agricultural products from China to South Korea,we can see that Chinese agriculture products play an important role in Korea. but trade surplus and frequent trade frictions between two countries. Secondly, researching the reasons of agricultural products problems from China and Korea aspects,the main reason including South Korea high tariffs, high subsidies and the standardization of Chinese agricultural products. Thirdly,by means of CMS model analysing Chinese agricultural exports to ROK trade factors, the Chinese agricultural exports to Korea mainly by demand-pull factors, structural effects of agricultural exports and competitiveness effects can hinder China's exports of agricultural products in certain period. and demand pull factors is much greater than structural effects and competitiveness effects. Therefore, this paper from multiple perspectives put forward promoting Chinese agricultural exports trade, and by FTA promotes the relationship of agricultural development in China and South Korea.
