Quotation Risk Analysis On Engine Water Pump Localized-Export Project

In recent years, China's exports maintain stable growth, remained the world leader, among which the engine components contributed an important part of manufacturing exports. Unlike domestic project or pure export projects, the localized-export project is much more complex, and, with China's marketing position in the world to enhance,the domestic people's income levels to improve, and the international financial environment continuous to evolve, the domestic cost is no longer competitive as that of the early twenty-first century, therefore, early in the project quotation process, it is necessary to develop price risk analysis from strategic and tactical view to achieve the desired goals ensuring proper pricing and long-term project benefits.Take the engine water pump localization project for the study, from the strategic view, apply SWOT to analyze the opportunities and risk s which may affect the leading direction of pricing process, use AHP to access these factors, obtain the weight of each factor and conclude that the opportunity is bigger than risk. In the tactical aspects, to each stage of product forming process, relying on the knowledge and experience of the professional staff in various departments to brainstorm, identify the risks and evaluate the risk index of these risks, to get the key risk factors, to apply sensitivity analysis on changing Factors knowing that changes in exchange rate and raw material will put greater impact on the product price, to apply break-even analysis get conclusion that volume change will impact project benefit heavily; To develop risk response measures based on risk analysis, and ultimately delivery the price which can meet customer expectations, but also the product will be full of life in the future and the company will benefit from the project in the long-term, eventually to be awarded the project successfully.This study establish the risk analysis method and procedure for water pump and similar engine components localization-export project in the pricing process of how to develop a reasonable price, and also wish for the follow-up of different types of research projects of different features can bring some inspiration.
