The Internet, which makes human into a new era, has set off a profound transformation in the world. With the advent of the Internet Era, food industry is developing much more rapidly than ever before. In the present paper, the author first introduced the characteristics and impacts of the Internet, the attitude of people towards the Internet, as well as the characteristics and opportunities of food industry in the Internet Era, and analyzed the main risks of traditional food operation and quality, and considered that the risks are historical and mainly related to the origin of food. Then the author discussed the impact of Internet technologies on the food operation and quality risk analysis and the corresponding management mode exploration through the application cases of several Internet technologies in food industry. On the basis of the above, the new risks of food industry and the exploration of management mode in the food industry in the Internet Era were summarized.
