Route network is the foundation of airlines, the subsequent series of work for airlines including setting the target market, the flight schedule, and revenue management built on the premise of the route network planning. The optimization of the route network structure will have a direct impact on sustainable development and profitability for airlines. As a localization airlines, Tianjin Airlines Co., Ltd. was founded four years, arousing its all efforts,has made a great contribution on the development of China's regional aviation. At present,Tianjin Airlines has become China's largest regional airline. In the aviation market competition, Tianjin Airlines will face a new round of strategic transformation, how to conduct a new round of scientific and rational route network planning will be the primary task of Tianjin Airlines.This article tries to identify suitable development of Tianjin Airlines route network mode--composite route network, by analyzing the external environment and internal environment for Tianjin Airlines, pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of its existence route network, according to the Tianjin Aviation strategic positioning and combined with its own existing resources. On the basis of that, It wills recognize suitable air base for future development of Tianjin Airlines, through the establishment of a set of airport competitiveness evaluation system. Finally, an example of the airline network planning at Wuhan base-airport is given to illuminate the methods of how to plan airline network scientifically. The conclusions all above can provide theoretical guidance and policy recommendations for Tianjin Airlines route network.
