Research On Financial Performance Of Listed Tourisrn Companies

In recent years,tourism industry has made rapid development in our country,the trend of popular and diversified tourism consumption is becoming more and more obvious,the contribution rate of tourism enterprises represented by listed tourism companies to national economy is increasing day by day.Meanwhile,there are many problems in listed tourism companies such as immature ideas,the small size and the weak risk diversification,which restricte the improvement of financial performance and the develepment of companies. it is of great practical significance and long-term significance to strengthen the research on the financial performance of China's listed tourism companies.Firstly, the author describes the research background and significance of this article and summarizes the results of financial performance research at home and abroad by investigation and collection of informations.After that,the author proposes the research ideas, research contents and research methods of this article.Secondly, the paper explains the tourism and its characteristics,listed tourism companies, the main contents and indicators of financial performance and so on.The author also analyzes some theories and enlightenment of financial performance research including enterprise management theory, input-output theory, internal control theory and stakeholder theory.According to research materials,the paper analyzes the overall situation and financial performance status of the listied tourism companies which are divided into three categories such as listed hotel companies, listed resource companies and listed comprehensive companies.The paper finds that the financial performance of listied tourism companies has shown some signs of decline generally since 2013 by the comparison of debt-paying ability, earning power,operating ability and growth capacity indicators.After that,the paper analyzes the problems and the causes of financial performance from the perspective of enterprise management,internal control, risk prevention and stakeholders.The author puts forward some advices such as strengthening strategic research to tamp enterprise management,establishing rules and regulations to strengthen internal control,improving early warning mechanism to strengthen risk prevention,enhancing the consciousness of social responsibility to safeguard the interests of the indirect stakeholders and so on.The article carries on the case to the Tibet tourism Limited by Share Ltd which appears loss in 2014 at the sixth chapter.The author finds the problems in the process of its management by comparing the financial performance indicators which include debt-paying ability,earning power,operating ability and growth capacity with the listed resource companiesand the entire industry,and puts forward some specific suggestions to turn a profit.Through the research of this paper we know that enterprises management,internal control,risk prevention and stakeholders will have a certain effect on financial performance.At present,our country is in a critical period of economic transition,the implementation of a series of industrial structure adjustment measures brings great opportunities to listed tourism companies.At the same time, the listed tourism companies also face some challenges.In order to improve the overall financial performance level and enhance the competitiveness,the listed tourism companies should pay much attention to the influence of various factors in the process of management and try to solve some financial performance problems,and then realize the sustainable development of enterprises.
