Study On Energy Strategy Of Turkey From The Perspective Of International Energy Structure

Turkey is a relative scarcity of its own source of energy, but it has occupied an important place in the international energy pattern. In today’s international energy pattern,Turkey is a very important energy transit country for energy producers and energy consumers.On one hand,it benefits for its unique geo-strategic lacation;on the other hand,the energy game between Russia and EU provides an important external conditions in enhancing the status of Turkey’s energy strategy.Currently,in the international energy pattern,many oil and gas pipelines have completed or under construction,for which Turkey as a transit country. Turkey has a great position in the international energy pattern.Turkey is also an important energy consumer market. Turkey developed a diversified energy strategy for those Strategic considerations:to meet their economic development needs for energy, to Construct the international energy hub,to improve its international status and the right to speak for the EU talks and so on.However, The effective implementation of Turkey’s energy strategy also faces some challenges of domestic and foreign factors.The "One Belt one Road" strategy provides an important platform for China and Turkey in energy cooperation, there is a huge practical basis for cooperation and development in traditional and renewable energy and other aspects. Meanwhile, Turkey and China also face challenges,such as the "East Turkistan" and other issues. Overall, Cooperation between Turkey and China outweighs their differences,it requires both sides to seek common ground,to strengthen policy communication and promote mutually beneficial and win-win.
