Research On The Cost Management Of The New Product Development Project Of XD Elevator Company

In recent years, the elevator industry has been rapid development in China, China has become the first elevator production country, but because of China’s population, China has become the world’s first elevator use power, so the safety and reliability of elevator’s attention, the development of new products elevator can be obtained more attention. The level of cost management of new product development project elevator company is not only related to the future development of the elevator company, but also directly affect the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises and the quality of elevator products, so it is very important to research on the cost management of new product development project of elevator company.This paper takes XD elevator company as the research object, analysis the main problems existing in the new product development project of XD elevator company cost management, find out the reasons of the existing problems, put forward the improvement measures of the new product development project of XD elevator company cost management. The research of this paper includes 6 chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the background and significance of this study, and the research status of the project cost management at home and abroad. The second chapter is the basic part of the relevant theory. Introduces the content and process of project management, and then introduces the concept, methods and contents of the project cost management, provides a solid theoretical foundation for this research; the third chapter elaborates on the new product development project of XD elevator company, including new product development organization and project management in the process of new product development and new product development highlights. This paper introduces the cost management system and the cost management process of the new product development project of XD elevator company. Focus on the XD elevator 3300 AP Schindler, Schindler 3600 and Schindler5400 AP series of new product development projects to earn value analysis, and draw the earned value curve. The fourth chapter analyses the existing new product development project of XD elevator company cost management and the reasons for the problems, find the problems existing in project cost management, cost estimation, early development behind schedule increase cost, cost budget, project cost method is not suitable for information transfer delay and new product repeatedly rework. The reasons of existing problems are: employees involved in the project cost control concept is weak, lack of project cost management talent, outstanding new product development incentive mechanism is not perfect, the lack of dynamic cost control of the project development process and new product development project quality management is not in place. The fifth chapter combined with the actual situation of XD elevator company, put forward the new product development project of XD elevator company cost management improvement measures, including: the establishment of full cost control concept, the introduction of outstanding cost management personnel, strengthening the project cost performance appraisal, strengthen process management to reduce the indirect cost, promote the project cost management informatization and strengthen quality management to reduce the rework cost. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and outlook section. This paper summarizes the research of the full text, and puts forward the future research work.This paper takes XD elevator company as the research object, attempts to conduct the research on the new product development project of XD elevator company cost management problems, and combined with the actual situation of XD elevator company’s new product development, aiming at the existing problems in the process of the XD elevator company new product development project cost management improvement measures.
