Eight counties where the yellow river flows through are known as Golden Triangle. They are the birthplace of Chinese civilization as well as agricultural civilization. Golden Triangle is also the largest area to produce apple and special farm products. As the basic industry in this area, agriculture takes a strategic role in Yuncheng and even in Shanxi. Therefore, industrial optimization and special agriculture development can not only push agriculture modernization and increase farmers'income, but also realize transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.Based on the research of characteristic agriculture development on the basis of the theory and practice, through on-the-spot investigation, analysis summed up the Yellow River economic zone agriculture development situation. Through the empirical analysis summarizes the advantages of the Yellow River economic zone characteristic agriculture development, and in the process of its development have a series of serious problems, such as industrialization level is not very high, dominance is not outstanding, agricultural service system is weak, the rural urbanization development lag, the agricultural labor force aging is serious.
