One of the most valuable advantages of enterprise development is innovation. It is known that innovation stems from creative ideas, thus no valuable innovation will come out without creative ideas. In the background of “encouraging the masses to make their own business and innovations”, crowdsourcing increasingly becomes an important approach for more and more enterprises to collect excellent creative ideas from the whole society. With crowdsourcing, enterprises can collect great number of creative ideas from the Internet. Therefore, how to get creative ideas of products and services is no longer the most difficult part faced by the enterprises. At this point, the most difficult thing is the method used to evaluate the ideas and screen the ones which are needed by the enterprises.Although the existing studies have done some researches on how to screen creative ideas, such as its method and procedure, they are limited to making choices from a small number of ideas produced within the innovation team and not applicable to screening great number of ideas. So how to screen excellent and applicable ideas in a short time becomes a significant subject. This thesis will analyze the method which will be used to evaluate and screen the creative ideas from a great number of ideas, and then take this method as strong support for the popularization of crowdsourcing.The existing studies focus on constructing the indexes of creating value assessment on the foundation of literature review. However, this thesis is based on the practices of enterprises. It analyzes the announcements of Creative Contests hold by enterprises. Through cluster and text analysis on the four hundred and eleven sentences, which describe various indexes of creating value assessment, this thesis refines five first-level indexes and thirteen second-level indexes.On the account of some theories such as text proofreading, VSM and detection for discrete point, this thesis will quantify the thirteen indexes of creating value assessment. Six indexes among them are subjective indexes which depend on the subjective judgment of relative professionals, and the other seven are objective ones.From the perspective of subjective and objective assessment, the thesis designs a method for screening valuable ideas among huge amounts of information in view of stage-gate theory. The screening procedure is divided into three stages: objective assessment stage, subjective assessment stage, and sequentially, comprehensive ranking stage. The objective stage and the subjective stage can be subdivided into seven stages and six stages respectively, and then the comprehensive ranking stage will select the best idea with the weighted value got from the thirteen stages.The indexes of creating value assessment constructed in this thesis are on the basis of practice, so they are more corresponding to the real indexes taken by enterprises during practice. The indexes also have theoretical and practical significance. The method designed in this thesis can greatly improve the efficiency and increase the speed of creative ideas screening. It is especially suitable for fast screening among huge amount of creative ideas which come from crowdsourcing, thus it can provide strong support for crowdsourcing.
