The Study On TEC Supplier Selection And Management Strategy

A good supply chain is a key to success for nowadays company, it can help improve the competitiveness in the market. Also supplier evaluation and selection is key for good supply chain. Therefore, in order to enhance the competitively of enterprises, it is of great practical and significance to study how to select supplier and manage an effective supply chain.Firstly, the thesis summaries the research status of supplier evaluation worldwide, introduces supply chain management and its' basic management theory. Most of current articles are about the traditional buyer-seller relationship, few of them are about the win-win strategic partnership of supplier evaluation under supply chain management.Secondly, the article analysis the status and problems of supplier evaluation, focus on analysis of problems in TEC Company. Through deep analysis, the article indicates that the current subjective supplier selection method, supplier management strategies under uncertain demand environment and central lead organization structure are the key issues, then the article use AHP method to build new supplier selection system and take an example to compare the supplier selection based on the current supplier selection method and new AHP method. AHP method can better eliminate the subjective points of view in supplier selection.Furthermore, the paper suggest to define clear product strategy, take flat organization structure, timely review supplier selection criteria and use these criteria to guide future supplier management, so as to improve the effectiveness of supply chain management.
