The economic development has directly improved people's living standards in China.As the pursuit of cost-effective is obvious different from past,people pay more and more attention to the personality of different product.Garment,as the daily necessity,is the most direct expression of people's taste and character.Therefore,the design of tailored garment with personality is the further development trend of the apparel industry.We can combine the design of tailored garment with personality and the current hot fast fashion,and take it as the key developing direction of the apparel industry,which will open up a new market to stimulate the apparel industry to upgrade the reform.This paper,based on the consumer's perspective,combine fast fashion and personalized custom to put forward a set of design process,which can be easily accepted by non-professional designers.The process of this research is divided into the following parts:First,through the overview of the fast fashion as well as the analysis of the famous fast fashion brand at home and abroad,author respectively made a contrastive analysis between foreign brand such as ZARA,H & M and Chinese local brand such as UR,ME & CITY.The analysis result includes five aspects: the design team,lead time,production methods,advantages and disadvantages.Second,make a study on the overview of the design process of the tailored garment with personality and analysis some well-known domestic and international customization platform such as CUT ON YOUR BIAS,Proper Cloth,Red Collar Factory,Guan Guan and Everstar.This studyincludes eight aspects: the operation of platform,the content of customization,the ways of measurement,target customer,design process,cycle of customization,advantages and weaknesses.Third,make a survey on the cognitive research of fast fashion and personalized clothing custom among the Chinese urban youth consumers and some middle-aged consumers,in order to forecast the market development prospects of the tailored garment with personality based on fast fashion.Based on the above research,this paper builds an intuitionistic customized fashion model which follows the market trend,can be easily operated and does not need fitting.At the same time,the model is proved to have the possibility to implement by the key technical background.Fast fashion personalization model can not only meet consumer demand for speed,comfort and fashion,but also reduce environmental pollution in garment manufacturing process.Besides that,it can reduce inventory risk and the waste of resources.A research on the design process of the tailored garment with personality based on fast fashion will promote the upgrading of China's garment manufacturing industry and provide an effective program for the sustainable development of the apparel industry.
