Statistical Measure Of The Development Level Of China’s Internet During The Year Of 2000-2014

The Internet has gradually become an indispensable part of humanity’s life.The research on the characteristics and laws of its development has become the focus of domestic and foreign scholars.Abroad the related research mainly concentrated on its related information measure,but the domestic research on the development level of the Internet is more focused on the Internet Index of itself.In order to understand the level of development of the Internet more comprehensively,the paper establishes a comprehensive index system of the Internet development level,which can measure the level of the development of the Internet quantify.Based on the results of variable clustering and the principle of selecting indexes,this article set up the classification index system and selects the final indexes.Then based on four aspects of the Internet application development environment,the Internet equipment resources,the Internet infrastructure and the Internet penetration condition,this article establishes a comprehensive evaluation system.Firstly,we make a basic statistical description about the four aspects of the development of the Internet,and then use the data of relevant indexes during the year of 2000-2014 and the method of principal component to analysis the development level on China’s Internet four aspects and comprehensive development itself.China’s Internet Diffusion Law of development,influence factors and the relationship between the levels of economic development and Internet are also studied.The results of this study show that: 1,China’s Internet Diffusion conforms to the innovation diffusion of S type curve,using logistic model and Bass model to fit the curve,and the fitting results show that China’s Internet penetration rate is expected in 2027 reached maximum saturation value of about 54%.2,the results about the study on the Internet Diffusion and its relevant influencing factors,show that the development of the Internet application environment,the level of infrastructure,the level of the Internet has a significant impact on the spread of the internet.3,the principal component analysis method was used to do the comprehensive evaluation of the development level of the Internet in China during the year of 2000-2014.The study shows that the overall level of Internet in China is a rising trend,and presents some certain characteristics of the stage.4,through the classic Cobb-Douglas production function,the relationship between China’s Internet development level and economic growth to overall and stage are studied,Chow split test results show that 2005 is a year of possible segmentation points,and segmented results confirm that after 2005 the Internet development level is a more significant role in promoting China’s economic growth.
