The Research About The Ecologicalization Of China's Furniture Industry

At present, with the furniture industry accounting for a large proportion in the national economy of our country, it inevitably imposes great burden on the ecological environment as well as destroying the nature during its development. Problems in the furniture industry are arousing people's attention and inducing them to do more research and reflections. Under this circumstance, we must also strengthen research on green furniture industry, putting forward feasible solutions to improve current situation of Chinese furniture industry, to promote the coordinated development of humans and the ecological environment, and to help realize the sustainable development of the industry.Based on industrial ecology theory, sustainable development theory and life cycle method,the writer of this paper has made deep research on current problems emerging in the green furniture industry and the solutions on these problems. Through literature analysis, comparative analysis, empirical analysis and other methods, problems existing in Chinese green furniture industry have been studied from different aspects,such as raw material selection, design,manufacturing, packaging and transporting, using, recycling and so on. And some countermeasures have been provided from four levels including enterprises, industry associations,governments and consumers. Firstly, the furniture enterprises should be encouraged to actively shoulder the responsibility for greening. Secondly, the industry association should play the role of green service. Moreover, the government should give play to the guidance and adjustment function. Lastly, consumers should actively take part in the green consumption. The writer hopes that this research can provide some suggestions for the future development of furniture industry in our country and help improve the environment of our country's furniture industry as soon as possible.In this paper, the final conclusion is that rather than only one factor, there are many factors resulting in problems of the green furniture industry. Therefore, only through joint efforts of all the main bodies including enterprises, industry associations, governments and consumers can problems in the furniture industry be resolved. And only after resolving problems of the furniture industry can we improve the quality of furniture in our country, protect the ecological environment as well as ensure harmonious development of mankind, environment and our society.
