When the enterprise develops the way of enterprise expansion strategy,the enterprise should first consider whether to use the external relations of the organization,namely the choice of internal expansion or external expansion.If the enterprise needs to use the organization external relations,then the enterprise also needs to decide the external expansion way,namely the choice alliance or the merger and acquisition.In this paper,the research on the way of enterprise expansion is about the two processes of enterprise expansion.If the enterprise desires to achieve its strategic goal,the first thing that the enterprise needs to do is to get all of resources which is necessary for implementation of the strategy.Nowadays,it is very difficult for enterprises to get all the resources they need through their own ability,and the social network is the way to obtain the resources.Enterprises and their suppliers,distributors,customers,competitors,such as the formation of a complex network system,corporate shareholders,executives and other personal social network relationships tend to be integrated into the enterprise network.These different networks bring enterprise resources and information,which is needed in the process of enterprise expansion.At the same time,the position of the network in the network and the heterogeneity of the network also affect the opportunities and risks faced by the enterprises when they choose the mode of expansion.On the basis of summarizing and sorting out the previous research results,this paper makes a preliminary study on the factors that may affect the diversification of enterprises.On this basis,using the social network research paradigm,this paper constructs the theoretical framework of the choice of enterprise diversification expansion from three aspects: individual,relationship and network.The empirical results based on panel data,from three aspects of individual,relationship,network constructing theoretical model choice of enterprise diversification mode not only has detailed theoretical basis,but also has a strong practical significance.Finally,this paper takes the company and its ecological chain enterprises as an example to further explain the influence of the factors of resources and network on the choice of enterprise diversification.In terms of enterprise resources,enterprises with technical resources are more likely to stick to the existing technical resources,while ignoring the external opportunities.Enterprises in the choice of expansion,the need to consider both opportunities and risks.External expansion is more efficient than the internal expansion to obtain the resources needed by enterprises.Contrary to the expectation of this paper,it is more likely that firms are more likely to choose alliances when the technology is large.This may be because the choice of the external expansion of the merger of an enterprise is often a great risk when the technology is large.Enterprises in mergers and acquisitions technology far away enterprises will be more cautious.In the distance,the network center of the enterprise can get more interest in alliances or mergers and acquisitions,while the lower position of the enterprise network are often more willing to enterprise cooperation and high network location to obtain attachment or sense of belonging.Therefore,in the larger location,the external expansion of the enterprise is a win-win choice.At the network level,the empirical results show that the structural characteristics of the network significantly affect the opportunities and risks faced by enterprises in the development of the expansion strategy.The location of the center of the network is more likely to choose external expansion.In the formulation of external expansion strategy,the high network position of the enterprise is more likely to choose alliance.The higher the heterogeneity of the network,the more effective the enterprise can obtain the knowledge and information of many industries and fields.In the choice of alliances or mergers and acquisitions,but also to better identify the strengths and weaknesses of partners.Therefore,firms with high heterogeneity are more likely to choose external expansion.
