The development of Information Technology has driven the rapid progress of remote sensing technology, at the same time makes the remote sensing technology plays an important role in the field of disaster prevention and mitigation, and makes it became an important method in monitoring and control of the disaster. But with the further application of remote sensing technology, its defects also become increasingly prominent. For example, in disaster mitigation application, remote sensing source data has complicated source, and mass data's concentration is difficult, remote sensing product's types are various and complex and it's hard to match them. These features get in the way of further development of remote sensing technology in the field of disaster prevention and reduction. The remote sensing's application results mainly exist in the form of map, therefore it has practical significance to have a study of quick mapping.In this article, we divide the disaster database into grid database and vector database and then construct them respectively. During the two kinds of databases'construction, a detailed study of the grid data and vector data naming rules and index method is carried out, and use Oracle database to store the two kinds of data, which makes the disaster database's inquiry speed increased greatly. In the article, use C#to realize the grid data and vector data's updating and extraction.This paper studies the rapid matching technology of multi-source basic data and disaster thematic information, and to further improve the efficiency of mapping, discuss of rapid matching algorithm was carried out. According to the needs of practical application, disaster information thematic symbol is designed, the symbol library subsystem is built, and then embed it into the rapid mapping system, which improves the efficiency of hazard mapping. Under the construction of disaster thematic mapping system, this text takes Wenchuan and Yushu as the research area, and realize the hazard rapid mapping with the application of the system.
