Realization And Application Of Automated Process For Estimating Mineral Resources

With more than 40 years of development and refinement,the technology of mining softwares has become pretty mature,which has been used in various fields of mining.With a new round of overseas mineral resources bargain-hunting surges comming,More and more Chinese enterprises carry out investment of mining abroad.Mineral resources are one of the most important indicators of project of resources assessment,exploitation of mineral resources and operation and management of mining.As a result,it has become one of the focuses of mining-techniques on how to accurately and quickly estimate the amount of mineral resources.Therefore,with the secondary development of language of Surpac software,the resource estimation program module has been worked out by studying process of resource estimation.The resource estimation system has some specific characteristics,such as good compatibility,process-oriented operation model,friendly interface,simple and easy to learn and use,and so on.The main achievements and results of this study are shown as follows:(1)According to the particular analysis on the mining software application and the work of resource estimate,the frame structure of resource estimation program module has been designed(2)After making a particular research on the mechanism of file organization and file management,the system for managing documents of resource estimation has been defined.(3)The two methods and processes of building 3D deposit model have been summarized,and then the concludes that the advantages and disadvantages of each method have been made.What's more,we point out certain key factors that help build 3D deposit model,and then summarize the theory and methods of the geological data analysis and spatial interpolation.(4)The development of resource estimation program module has been completed by TCL/SCL language on the base of analyzing and the fundamental functions have been introduced in detail.(5)At last,combining with an application example of estimating the resources of RSW deposit,the convenience,stability,reliability of the resource estimation program module has been proved.
