In recent decades, a number of condensate gas reservoirs have been found in China. Tarim Basin, which has fruitful gas resources, becomes an important base for the production of natural gas in china. In the essay, combining the current status of gathering and transportation of Tower I condensate gas field and survey of related literature and date of ground process and various areas, systematically carry on the research of the gathering and transportation technology of Zhonggu area.We systematically carry out the optimization of layout of pipes of gathering and transportation network, use the improved hierarchical optimization method to establish a mathematical model to optimize overall well group division and set the gas station site, carried out programming and software developed based on genetic algorithm toolbox Matlab2014 establish the optimal grouping of wells and gas gathering station location. Also, we analyze kinds of methods of connection of branches, then flit out the best method of connection. Through the comparison before then optimization and after, the total length of the pipeline is reduced by 9.95 km, and the total investment of the pipeline is reduced by 318,100.00.Based on the layout of optimal gathering and transportation pipeline network, a comprehensive evaluation of the gathering and transportation process is carried out. In this paper, the gathering and transportation system setting, oil and gas transportation technology, preventing the hydrate process are studied in detail. For the latter part of the block characterizing as pressure drops rapidly, we providethree adjustment schemes- high and low-pressure transportation, pressurized gas station, and pressurized single well to transportation. Comparing the three schemes, we find that the first scheme has lowest investment, energy consumption, and strong adaptability. For the gas-liquid mixed transportation scheme in oil and gas transportation technology, we use the OLGA to analyze the adaptability. We also adjust the cleanOing cycle and optimize the the slug flow scheme according to the real situation of middle and last blocks that gas traffic decease while the water increase. Finally, the adapt ability of existing hydrate prevention measures is studied by using HYSYS, and the unsuitable gas pipelines are also revised.Studying of Zhonggu area's gathering and transportation technology provides reference that how to further reduce the cost of the ground engineering, improve the level of planning and design, and reduce the cost of gas field construction.
