1,8-Naphthyridine derivatives display outstanding photophysical and photochemical properties due to their rigid planar constructure.Consequently,1,8-naphthalene derivatives have an important role used as ion fluorescence probes,photochemical catalysis,molecular recognition,bio-probe,medicinal chemistry,functional materials,devices and materials.In this dissertation,we designed and synthesized a series of 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives L1-3 and four 1,8-naphthyridine Ru???complexes C1 to C4 by using the 1,8-naphthyridine as a parent skeleton.In order to get further insight into the structure and properties,many analysis methods such as UV and FL spectra,electrochemical workstation,high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatograp were used some interesting results were obtained.1.Three new 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives L1-3 were synthesized.Their spectroscopic properties were studied by UV-vis absorption spectra and fluorescent emission spectra.The compound L1 has good spectal response to zinc ion.the fluorescence intensity enhance dramatically after adding Zn2+,which is not interfered by other ions.The ligand L3 also has a good specificity recognition to Cr3+,addition of Cr3+ results in emission changes.Therefore,the compound L3 has better sensitivity and specificity for recognition to Cr3+.2.Four 1,8-naphthyridine Ru???complexes C1-4 were obtained by reaction of the 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives with Ru???ion,their photochemical properties were investigated through UV-vis absorption spectra and fluorescent spectra.3.For complexes C1 to C4 their photocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO and photocatalytic oxidation of H2O were studied by electrochemical station,high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography.In DMF:H2O=5:1mixed solvent,we found that in the systems withthe compounds C1 to C4 as photosensitizer,FeCl3 used as the catalyst,C1 exhibits high catalytic activity for reduction of CO2 compared to those of others.But forthe study on the oxidation of H2O,C1-C4 used as photosensitizer the catalytic efficiencies are not satisfactory.In summary,The studies on the selective recognition to metal ion for the three1,8-naphthyridine derivatives as well as four 1,8-naphthyridine Ru???complexes used as photosensitizerin photocatalytic water oxidation provided a number of experimental data for following study,which is useful for structural construction of catalysts.
