1,8-naphthyridine derivatives show outstanding photophysical and photochemical properties due to their special nitrogen miscellaneous conjugated?electronic system to meet their requirements of rigid planar of coordination. They have widely potencial application in many fields, such as coordination chemistry, drug synthesis and fluorescent probes.Interestingly, some 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives have special pharmacological activity,so as to be applied in the clinical treatment of life sciences. In order to strengthen their coordination ability we can try to introduce some different functional groups in the 1,8-naphthyridine carbon skeleton.Consequently, these new compounds are expected to play a greater role in materials science and life sciences. In this paper,we designed and synthesized a series of 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives by using the 1,8-naphthyridine as a parent skeleton combining with the advantages of boron fluoride compounds. In addition,an ion probe based on fluorescein was also synthesized. Therefore,in this paper, the spectroscopic properties of 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives and fluorescence probe were studied.Firstly,we synthesized some new 1,8-naphthyridine derivatives L1 to L7,and studied the spectroscopic properties in different environments.Secondly, two BF2 derivatives were synthesized base on 1,8-naphthyridine(C1and C2).The crystal structure show that this type of boron fluoride compounds are formed as a stable six-member ring structure with B-O and B-N bond. The rigid planar enhanced and the conjugation increased.Furthermore,we studied their UV-visible absorption and fluorescence spectrum. Finally,we designed a fluorescent probe F1 with the fluorescein and hydrazine hydrate and 1,8-naphthyridine as the raw materials. The study of spectral properties of its recognition toward the metal ions have important guiding significance on the development fluorescent probes with high selectivity and sensitivity toward of heavy metal ions.
