Gas transmission station valve is an essential part of the whole pipeline system, the safe and reliable of the valve is the essential part of the whole pipeline safe operation. However, at present, the maintenance activities of the gas transmission station is mainly based on the experience of. This will lead to improper maintenance way and maintenance cycle selection, which is not reasonable. This will make the maintenance cost is expensive, but high risk equipment is still in a state of high risk. The reliability centered maintenance (RCM) can make the reasonable maintenance plan according to the actual situation of gas transmission station valve state.it can not only reduce the maintenance cost but also improve the reliability of equipment.Currently the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) is not widespread in our country. Although it is applied in a few gas station, but due to various reasons, the effect is not very ideal. The main reason is the database is not perfect, maintenance strategy is more but not form a unified specification. Therefore, this article take eyes on the high cost of compressor station valve equipment maintenance based on the fault tree analysis method, formulated the valve of gas transmission station maintenance strategy based on RCM theory. This article take gas transmission station valves for example, do the following several aspects of research:(1) To analyze the principle of the system of gas transmission station valve, the valve components, which will provide premise for the valve reliability centered maintenance (RCM);(2)Using the gas station valve fault tree analysis to get the various failure modes of the valve, and analyze the failure reasons of gas transmission station valve, making the valve fault table;(3)Introducing the valve equipment reliability centered maintenance process in detail in the gas station, and find out the equipment failure probability of gas transmission station valve, level of accident consequences, as well as the equipment risk hierarchy. At last, according to the equipment of the risk rating, make the equipment maintenance decision.(4) According to the gas station valve risk level as well as the maintenance decision-making reliability centered gas station valve fault maintenance table, which give the gas station valve a feasible maintenance plan.
