Problems like gas wells having too much hydrops and weak fluid-carrying capability are occurring in Xujiahe gas reservoir in Guangan area. These problems seriously restrict the capacity of the gas wells and affect the stability production of the block. The plunger gas lift drainage gas recovery technique studied in this paper is a method of producing gas that intermittent switch well to save reservoir's energy and pull the plunger up and down inside the pipeline to discharge the hydrops in the wellhole. This method effectively improves the instability of conventional gas lift and enhances the lifting efficiency. Some wells producing both gas and water are tested with the method. It's important to examine the application effect and condition for extending the range of application to increase and remain stable production for better economic benefit.By analyzing amount domestic and foreign literatures, data and the successful test of Guangan 111, using the reservoir's drilling, formation testing, production data and dynamic monitoring data, and compositing the basic geology feature of the gas reservoir, the dynamic production feature of the gas wells are tracked and analysied.13 wells are selected from the 76 production wells as the plunger test wells. The 13 wells' in-situ operation are tracked and restructured in time when some problems come out. By tracking the production effect, dynamic monitoring the 13 wells'test and the changing of the production, the plunger gas lift's production system is established and the rationalization of well production is ensured. Finally the adjustment of the method used in the Guang'an Xujiahe reservoir is evaluated from the craft, well choosing and effect of the plunger gas lift.This method is effective for increasing production and can be better used in this area. The plunger seal process and the ground supporting process adapt to Guangan Xujiahe reservoir are formed which lay the foundation for the overall application of the plunger gas lift drainage gas recovery technique in Xujiahe reservoir in Chuanzhong area.
