Glass is a widely useful material in our ordinary life with high theoretical strength,high optical performance and well use reliability(non-ageing) inorganic non-metallic.Whereas,glass always make the "glare-attack" as we call the "light pollution" because of its high reflectivity.The chemical etching of glass were investigated for achieving the intention of anti-glare through increasing the transmittance,haze and reducing reflectance of glass.The kinds of crystals were analyzed in the anti-glare glass prepared process by the phase analysis of X-ray diffraction to realize the reactive mechanism of the anti-glare glass's preparation.That the corrosive rate and transmittance of glass vary with different time and temperature were investigated to achieve the best technical parameters of anti-glare glass's preparation by using Electrical Scale and Visible Transparence/reflectance apparatus.Otherwise,the haze of glass was tested by using Haze apparatus to offer theoretical basis of the anti-glare glass's metrical criterion. The results show that NaSiF6,K2SiF6 and a little SiO2 crystals were created after chemical etching.The best technical parameters of anti-glare glass's preparation are: time:10mins,Temperature:20℃,NH4F:22.1wt%,CaF2:3.8wt%,(NH4)2SO4: 3.8wt%,K2SO4:2.3wt%.The accelerant has controlled the corrosive rate and increased the transmittance,but not influence to the haze.The crack of glass surface was analyzed by using Optical Microscope and SEM. The strength of glass was contrasted after different disposal by using Coating impact instrument to test the possibility of increasing strength and influence of transmittance after acid treatment.Offer theoretical basis for the security of anti-glare glass.The results show that the cracks of anti-glare glass are not less than as-received glass but more;The strength of anti-glare glass is lower than as-received glass,and the acid polishing glass is stronger than no-polishing one,chemically strengthened glass is stronger than no-strengthened one.Otherwise,the transmittance is little changed between strengthened glass and no-strengthened one.The possibility of increasing transmittance has been discussed through the appearance of anti-glare glass surface and beehive shape model.The change of transmittance and haze were investigated by using Visible spectrophotometer and Haze apparatus.And the practice operation photographs of anti-glare glass were displayed.The results show that the surface of etched glass with beehive shape can capture light more effectively,and increase transmittance of glass.The glass has diffuse refection with beehive shape size is about 1.0μm~2.5μm,and transmittance was increased about 1%~2%,haze was increased from 0.2%to 4.5%,reflectance was reduced about 1%~2%at the wavelength of 400~780nm.The anti-glare glass never has "glare-attack ",furthermore,the transparence and definition are as good as as-received glass.The transmittance,reflectance,haze and gloss of good capability of anti-glare glass were tested as the measure methods of standard of anti-glare glass in future.The results show that the capability of anti-glare glass is good when haze in 3.5%~6.5%, reflectance in 5.5%~7.5%,transmittance in 88%~91%,and gloss in 78%~120%.The wastewater of preparation of anti-glare glass was treated to decrease the influence of environment.The chemical precipitation method and flocculent settling method was associated used for treating the wastewater which contains fluoride.And the treated water can reach the discharge of national standard.The method is applicable for treating the wastewater which contains fluoride.
