Speed control hump, as an enhanced road traffic safety facility, plays an important role in slowing down vehicle speed, improving traffic safety and curbing traffic accidents. However, if used improperly, it will cause the vehicle to have a lot of vibration and impact. This seriously affects the vehicle's dynamic performance. Therefore, study on the impact characteristic of vehicle crossing speed control hump has very important academic significance and practical value.In order to study the impact characteristics of heavy truck, a multi-body dynamic model of heavy truck was established by using SIMPACK software, a parameter identification optimization model of second-order rational function pavement power spectral density(PSD) was established by the genetic algorithms and the optimum parameters were obtained, on this basis, a road roughness model was established based on the basic principles of harmonic superposition, speed control hump model was built based on the basic theory of triangular mesh method. Then a simulation platform was established and the impact characteristic of vehicle crossing speed control hump was simulated and researched based on this platform.Orthogonal experimental design was used for the simulation to select appropriate conditions. Analysis of range and variance were used for simulation results to find the prominent factors affected the impact coefficient and to obtain excellent level. This study provided a reference for the design of speed control hump and the design of heavy truck.
