Research On Quality Control Of Highway Bridge Maintenance Engineering Projects

With the development of economy,our country's highway network basically covers all administrative villages. The number of highway bridges increases rapidly which ranks first in the world. Some designs and constructions lead to quality problem. What's more, bad management, deferred maintenance, overloaded vehicle and other reasons cause the increase of the number and degree of bridge damage. A large number of unsafe bridges and invalid bridges becomes the major source of hidden danger in the communication and transportation which seriously threat the normal use of roads. The key points of highway maintenance and management are to improve the project quality of the maintenance engineering of roads and bridges, Keep roads and bridges in good technical condition, prolonging their service life and guarantee clear roads and safe operation of bridges.The fundamental objective of highway bridge maintenance is to improve the quality of the maintenance and prolong their service life. Under the logical frame of raising, analyzing and solve problems, the author analyzes, diagnoses and puts forward final improvement projects and suggestions for existing problems in the process of quality control of maintenance engineering of roads and bridges by using relevant theories and knowledge of project quality management. The implementation phase of the project is the key of quality control of maintenance engineering. This paper studies the quality control in the implementation process of the maintenance engineering project of roads and bridges which the author analyzes specifically and brings forward some opinions.This paper systematically studied the principles, basis and methods of the quality control of maintenance engineering projects of roads and bridges. It has also discussed three phases: before/at/after the quality control. Factors affecting the quality of maintenance engineering projects, control methods, the establishment and the operation of planning and management system with regard to the quality control have been discussed. At the same time, theories have been applied in the process of the implementation of the engineering project of maintenance and reinforcement of Yinjiang Bridge in Yinjiang District, which is effective. This paper initially provides more systematic and scientific foundation in theory and practice for the quality control of maintenance engineering projects of roads and bridges.
