In the course of driving,the acquisition of the road information mainly comes from the sight.The sight distance is the quantification of the driver's sight to the road alignment and the environment.Therefore,it is of great significance for road design,road traffic safety inspection and evaluation to study the relationship between sight distance and road alignment.The relationship between the road alignment and traffic safety,especially the road alignment effect on the horizon,established models for the visual inspection of horizontal and longitudinal sections.Got on the secondary development of the road simulation platform,written a sight distance inspection module,developed a road safety evaluation criteria.Using the simulation platform to carry out the sight distance inspection and safety evaluation of the real road and analyzing the results of inspection and evaluation in detail.First,analyzing the related theory of highway safety inspection,determining the degree of influence of the horizon to the traffic safety,and then mainly from the four aspects of road alignment,vehicle speed,road greening,weather analysis distance and traffic safety,and pointed out the direction for the establishment of model.Secondly,taking the road alignment as the starting point,this paper puts forward the modeling thought that the parking distance is the test parameter.Based on the coordinate method,the calculation model of the parking distance inspection is established,which satisfies the maximum horizontal clearance and satisfies the minimum slope length.Thirdly,basing on the sight distance inspection model,draw the line of sight testing chart,got on the secondary development of the road simulation platform,written a sight distance inspection module.using the results of previous studies to develop the road safety evaluation standard.Finally,selecting a real road,and the contrast curve of the design sight distance,the V85 running horizon and the sight distance is calculated by the simulation platform.The results showed that in the curve section,with the increase of the radius of horizontal curve,the horizon difference increases,increase in the level of road danger:longitudinal section,with longitudinal slope length decreases,the horizon difference increases,increase in road danger level.The research and application of this topic is not only the supplement and perfection of the technology of the sight distance inspection,but also the further improvement of the road safety evaluation technology.
