The increasing penetration of renewable energy into the world and the strengthening of the interconnection of regional power grids in the global scope have become the inevitable trend of the future development of the power system. In this context, the concept of global energy interconnection has been put forward. Wind power, photovoltaic power generation and other new energy power generation makes the peak demand expansion because of its intermittence. On the other hand, there is strong complementarity between the energy supply and demand of various countries and regions. Interconnection of regional power grids across the globe to create conditions for adjustment peak demand inter continent and inter regional. It is necessary to carry out stochastic production simulation based on the available data. In the early stages of planning, it needs to analyze the difficulties and challenges of this future grid. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1. Based on the theory of global energy interconnection and the theory of adequacy, the thesis analyzes the development level of global electricity supply and demand. The data processing, cleaning and forecasting of medium and long term power data are completed under the background of global networking. Based on linear regression, this thesis proposes a method to forecast the medium and long term power supply and demand data, which provides data support for the research of the early planning of the global network.2. Based on the characteristics of power market environment, the thesis constructs the national (regional) free electricity market and the independent system operator (ISO)model. Based on the adequacy theory of power system, the output models of conventional and new energy units in the national (regional) free electricity market and the independent system operator (ISO) system are constructed. Based on the theory of global energy interconnection, a global energy interconnection economic dispatch model is developed to serve for the study of macro active power balance. These models provide support for the simulation study of the global energy interconnection peaking operation mode.3. This thesis analyzes the key characteristics of the network, such as global power production, electricity exchange, transmission loss, electricity price, and so on. The thesis analyzes the characteristics of the global day-to-night alternation and seasonal alternation of the peak-load operation mode. The simulation results provided a preliminary solution to the global energy interconnection environment peak mutual aid and the typical operation mode of global energy interconnection. At the same time, the thesis puts forward the design proposal of the global network frame, and verifies the correctness of the conclusion by simulation analysis. Results show: The thesis uses the global network to realize mutual power peaking, forms the intercontinental large-scale power flow pattern, realizes the regional power system optimal abundance and efficiency. It can effectively reduce the reserve capacity of the conventional units in each region, reduce the cost of peak shaving and reduce the emission cost.
