X-ray framing camera is one of the ultra-fast diagnostic tool for inertial confinement fusion.The camera is mainly composed by the MCP imaging converter tube,the circuit control system,vacuum system and data collection system.The circuit system is the key to realize the intellectualization and stabilization of the X-ray framing camera.With the spatial scale of the physical diagnostic system becoming dramatically huge,the traditional circuit control system of the camera can not meet the requirements of diagnostic system on automatic measurement.Therefore,in order to the conducts ICF experiment smoothly,it is extremely urgent to design a remote control system for X-ray framing camera.The remote control system of the X-ray Framing camera based on client/server(C/S)model and the socket technology is described in this paper.The control system is used to control the high voltages of the MCP and the phosphor screen,and the delay of the gating pulse.Besides,it may also real-timely monitor the working environment of the target chamber.We aim to establish a control system through the socket technology by the communication among client PC,industrial computer,and CPLD hardware circuit,and to realize the purpose of remote control of the camera.In this paper,the research work mainly includes as described below:1.The research background and purpose of the X-ray framing camera is introduced and the system architecture and Components of X-ray framing camera is presented.2.The general plan of framing camera remote control system is designed and the features of CPLD and the tools used in this control system is introduced such as the industrial computer,the interface of pc104 bus protocol.3.The hardware circuit design is realized using CPLD chip and the CPLD control code is designed combining with the VHDL hardware description language and schematics.PCB circuit is welded and the board is debugged.4.The design of X-ray framing camera control system software based on the software platform Visual C ++ is completed using the Socket communication technology,TCP/IP protocol and Win IO control of IO port.5.The assembly and debugging of the remote control system is completed and the test result is analyzed.It is verified that the design of the camera control system hardware and software can collaborative work successfully.
