With the development of the information age, people’s behavior and lifestyle have changed, building space has also changed. The problem of building space idle phenomenon has for long time,a large number of new building space is manufactured with the process of urbanization accelerated, but it make the idle phenomenon more serious.Network information search, management, location navigation and other information technology development make people’s lifestyles more diversified, many new building space to use.Based on the phenomenon of "idle" in the building space resources, this paper discusses the changes of human lifestyle in the context of information age,the positioning of information technology on building space, the management of building space resources to explore the possibility of building space resources in the information age configuration strategy. To propose time-sharing use of building space resources and shared use of building space resources as the spatial resource allocation strategy. To use information technology can meet the requirements of building space and the related information. And the information technology can help the idle building space be reintegrated. The demand side and the supply side can meet easily according to the idle building space information shared on the network platform.Through the combination of space and technical to create a lot of variable space, the adaptability of variable space can meet the needs of users be better and more interesting events happen, creating conditions for building space resources. The use of building space in the process of space "idle rate" can be reduced and enhancing efficiency. Finally, through the study of building space resource allocation strategy to explore the construction space resources in the new era of development.
