The car bumper is a safety device that absorbs and slows the impact of the outside and protects the front and rear parts of the car body.The car bumper shape is complex and size is large,the traditional design methods can not guarantee high quality requirements efficiently.Injection molding CAE software can replace the traditional process of repeated mold test and repair by simulation technology,find defects and modify them before making molds.This not only shorten the mold design cycle,but also improve production efficiency and reduce enterprise costs.This article mainly uses injection molding simulation software Moldflow.Firstly,the 3d model of front bumper is imported into Moldflow for grid division,and the defects in the grid division are analyzed and repaired.Secondly,the casting system of the front bumper is optimized and analyzed,according to the best gate position from three kinds of pouring schemes.The flow analysis and warping analysis are carried out,by comparing analysis results,it is reasonable to determine the pouring system of the four gate.Two different types of cooling pipes are established and the diagnosis of the cooling pipeline and cooling analysis are respectively carried out.The comparative result shows that the direct cooling system is most effective.Finally,the technological parameters of the front bumper are optimized,and the mold temperature is respectively set up at 20?,40?,60?,the melt temperature is respectively set up at 220?,240?,260?.The result show that the mold temperature of 40? and the melt temperature of 240? are the best process parameters.
