Traditional tobacco stalk recycling is mainly by artificial hand pull, hoes in the form of digging, causing low efficiency with waste time and energy, big workload and high artificial cost, therefore we need to be related to tobacco stalk puller to help improve efficiency, reduce labor intensity and labor costs. But the volume and quality of our country most of existing tobacco stalk pullers are great, they are widely used in the north field, but for the south area of tobacco growing, its advantage is gone, so tobacco stem uprooting machines will be developed toward the direction of miniaturization and light-duty.In this paper, I carry out the development and experimental study of mountain flue-cured tobacco stalk uprooting machine based on the situation, the main research contents are as follows:1.According to the parameters of the tobacco stems’ size and mountain land condition, i carry out the tobacco stalk uprooting machine’s structure design, including: analysis existing tobacco uprooting machine principle of work and the cause of the problem; doing product structure design for mountainous region flue-cured tobacco stalk uprooting machine’s parts and the whole machine by using UG; Doing machine parts modeling and virtual assembly for tobacco stalk uprooting machine.2. The interface design of every functional unit and power matching study. Doing components and parts interface design aiming at tobacco stalk uprooting machine’s function and effect. Analysis and calculation of power matching problem.3. Analysis of the tobacco stalk uprooting machine system related parameters, and setting up tobacco stalk uprooting machine simulation model. Do kinematics and dynamics analysis for the key parts of the tobacco stalk puller; Do finite element static analysis, modal analysis, optimization design and dynamic simulation analysis for some key parts.4. Prototype production and processing and doing the test and research on the tobacco field, according to the test results improving tobacco stalk uprooting machine’s unreasonable places.Through research shows that: the flue-cured tobacco stalk puller designed in the paper can uproot the mountain flue-cured tobacco stalk effectively. Doing the single factor experiments for tobacco stalk puller, the results show that the factors affecting the best settings for walking speed in the range of 1.5km/h~2.5km/h, rotating roller knife buried depth in 100~200mm, the cutting tool working width between 400~ 500 mm. Doing multi-factor orthogonal experiment, the study results show that factors a(machine walking speed), factor b(rotating roller knife buried depth) have significant influence for tobacco stem pulling out the net rate, factors c(the cutting tool working width) effect was not significant. three factors affecting the net rate of primary and secondary order are a,b,c respectively, the best collaboration is a1b2c1, namely when the machine walking speed is 1.5Km/h, rotating roller knife buried depth is 150 mm and rotating roller knife cutting tool working width is 400 mm, the tobacco stem uprooting effect is best.
