Clinical Observation Of Yingjin Zhuanggu Pill In The Treatment Of Osteoporosis Caused By Liver And Kidney Deficiency

Objective: Under the guidance of the TCM syndrome differentiation treatment system,to explore the clinical efficacy,side effects and adverse reactions of the camp rib bone pill in the treatment of osteoporosis,to evaluate its effectiveness and safety.To add a new effective therapy for the treatment of osteoporosis.At the same time,to lay the foundation for the study of exploring the safety of Chinese medicine for treatment of osteoporosis.Methods: Divided the collected osteoporosis(Deficiency of liver and kidney)patients into treatment group and control group randomly.Gave the treatment group the gluten Zhuanggu pill plus the primary drug therapy and gave the control group Gushukang Granule plus the primary drug therapy.The treatment lasted for 6 months.Before and after the treatment,checked and made record for the patients' bone mass,serum calcium,phosphorus,alkaline phosphatase,self evaluation on the pain level,and used statistical methods to compare and get the relative conclusion.Results: Before treatment,there is no statistical difference on the patients' age,gender,disease duration,osteoporosis and bone pain scores(P >0.05)between the treatment group and control group,which means the research is comparable.The pain score for both group has been improved after treatment(P <0.05).The bone mineral density L2~L4 has been increased as well for both groups but no significant difference(P >0.05).In improving osteoporosis pain,it has the statistic difference(P <0.05).It proves that the Zhuanggu pill is better than the Gushukang granule in improving the painfulness;On the TCM syndrome score,two groups from the comparison between third months of treatment,the treatment group symptom score was significantly lower than the control group(P < 0.01)from the third month treatment.The results showed that both these two kinds of drugs can improve symptoms of TCM in patients with osteoporosis,but the camp gluten Zhuanggu pill has better and quicker effect.According to the overall curative effect,the effective rate was as high as 90% on treatment group while the control group was only 86%,which indicating that the total effective rate for both group has no statistically difference(P>0.5)and both treatment method has the similar effect.Conclusion: The general treatment efficacy on Osteoporosis for both Camp gluten Zhuanggu pill and Gushukang granule are almost the same.They can relieve the pain for the patients as well as improve the bone density,improve the patients' living quality as well as lower the incidence of adverse reactions.At the same time,we admit that the camp gluten Zhuanggu has certain advantages than gluten Zhuanggu pill in the treatment of osteoporosis.
