Meta-analysis Of The Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In Preventing And Treating Cardiotoxicity Caused By Breast Cancer Anthracycline Chemotherapy Drugs

Purpose:Through the method of meta-analysis,the collected data were analyzed,and the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine on cardiac toxicity induced by chemotherapy of breast cancer anthracycline was comprehensively evaluated.Material and method:We use "Traditional Chinese medicine" "breast cancer" "anthracycline drugs" "heart toxicity" as the key word search Wanfang,Wei Pu,CNKI,Pubmed database.The literatures were screened according to the inclusion criteria.Meta-analysis was performed with Review Manager 5.3 software.The two classifiers involved were expressed by the relative risk ratio and the 95% confidence interval(CI).The continuity variables were expressed as standard mean difference.The effect was expressed as95% CI,Analysis of P and I2,when(P <0.1,I2 ? 50%),then prompted the existence of heterogeneity between the study,we use random effects model for analysis,on the contrary there is no heterogeneity,we use fixed effect model analysis.Observe whether the funnel map symmetry,and thus determine whether there is publication bias.Results:1.Literature search results 18 of RCTs about Chinese medicine on the prevention and treatment of cardiotoxicity of anthracycline chemotherapy in breast cancer were included in this study,a total of 1998 patients.2.Compared with the control group,the experimental group could reduce the indexes of cardiac injury and reduce the decrease of LVEF [SMD = 1.02,95% CI(0.56,1.48),P<0.0001],and decreased the increase of c Tn I and c Tn T [ SMD =-3.05,95% CI(-5.63,-0.47),P = 0.02],[SMD =-1.36,95% CI(-2.13,-0.58),P = 0.0006](RR = 0.46,95% CI(0.31,0.67),P <0.0001],and the incidence of preoperative electrocardiogram(RR = 0.46,95% CI(0.31,0.67),P <0.0001] The incidence of ST-T segment abnormalities was reduced [RR = 0.55,95% CI(0.41,0.73),P <0.0001].Conclusion:Meta analysis showed that compared with the control group,traditional Chinese medicine combined with anthracycline chemotherapy can reduce the breast cancer anthracycline chemotherapy drugs to produce cardiac toxicity,and showed significant effects on left ventricular ejection fraction,troponin,CK-MB and electrocardiogramit so we recommend clinical application.
