This paper aims at the archaeology culture relations between Sichuan Basin and Central Area in the late Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age. In virtue of geographical channel, firstly, this paper presents a basic introduction for natural environment and archaeology culture sequence of Sichuan Basin, Central Area and the related joint areas. Then, we select typical sites from each geographical unit which belongs to the late Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age, and do transverse comparison by stratigraphical and typological measures, in order to investigate the development and changes of cultural factors, probability and the course of cultural communication among geographical units. In conclusion, the culture of Sichuan Basin and Central Area did some limited communication through geographical channels in the late Neolithic Age, while in the Bronze Age the strengthening communication demonstrated the cultural influence from Central Area on Sichuan Basin. |
