Pottery Bowl is one of the common types of pottery in the Neolithic Age,which is widely distributed in the archaeological cultures of the Qiantang river basin and has distinct regional characteristics.The establishment of this article is based on the basin sequence of archaeological culture and the accumulation of archaeological data,using the method of archaeology stratigraphy and typology,with the mouth of the pot along the form as the basic standard of classification,and implements the abdomen and the different characteristics of the bottom,respectively to the area of the Shangshan culture,Kuahuqiao culture,Hemudu culture and the south of Qiantang river across lake pot type and stage characteristics of Liangzhu culture,a relatively comprehensive and systematic research,and then to the folding of the mouth pot,exposure and bowl that three types of ceramic bowl,explore the Qiantang river basin in the developing course of Neolithic pottery bowl,it can be divided into four stages of development,The evolution characteristics of different stages are summarized.Based on the analysis of cultural factors,the paper compares the shape,structure and function of pottery in the Neolithic Age in the Qiantang river basin with those in the Dongting lake area,the Taihu lake area and the Liangguang area of Fujian province,and discusses and preliminarily reveals the cultural interaction between the basin and surrounding areas.
