Practice teaching is an indispensable part for developing Master of Arts in Chinese Studies, also, it has a great significant in enhancing the abilities of Master of Arts in Chinese Studies. As a Chinese teacher, we not only need to master the basic competencies of listening, speaking, reading and writing, but also we have to possess excellent teaching skills and Chinese researching abilities. Just right, teaching practice is a great platform for Master of Arts in Chinese Studies to improve their professional abilities. In the process of teaching, by practicing again and again, trainees could sharpen their basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, also, by learning materials, writing teaching plan, attending class activities in actual teaching progress, Summarizing ability, we trainees could easily develop our teaching abilities. In addition, through interacting and discussing The New Chinese Curriculum Reform with Chinese teachers from high school and Internship instructor, our trainees could upright the attitudes towards Chinese teaching and enhance our researching abilities.A survey found that the following two levels are the main points that obstruct the competence improvement of Master of Arts in Chinese Studies: The first level is the internship time table needed to be settled orderly by the practice unit. The second level, teaching practice could also expose the weak points of our trainees in the field of professional knowledge: one is the bad performance in speaking and writing; another is related to teaching ability, which is needed to be improved a lot, such as the ability of understanding the teaching material, classroom teaching ability, organization ability, Summarizing ability, Class evaluation ability, etc.;Lastly, as a trainee, we need to transfer our attitudes and enhance our abilities towards Chinese research.By analyzing the results of the survey, I supposed that the following aspects are the main causes of these problems: First if all, trainees don't keep enough serious attitudes towards internship. Some of them are short for the basic theoretical knowledge and fundamental Chinese accomplishment. Therefore, they are deficient in practical experience and hardly master or apply theoretical knowledge to class teaching. Besides, the internship timetable is hardly settled orderly by the training unit, who merely emphasizes theoretical knowledge while ignores the importance of practice. At the same time, the practice unit doesn't put enough emphasize on practical training, and it also exist some unreasonable phenomenon of class hour in practical content.For improving the role of practice teaching towards the professional abilities of Master of Arts in Chinese Studies, we need to boost our efforts in the following aspects: firstly, trainees need to form firmly theoretical knowledge and fundamental Chinese accomplishment. In the process of teaching internship, we trainees should upright our attitudes towards training, treasure every practical opportunity, actively exchange experience with Chinese teachers from high school and Internship instructors. Moreover, the training unit should arrange the practical timetable orderly, implement Double Tutorial System timely, guide trainees make their practical plan patiently. Meanwhile, the training unit has to impose students to explore The New Chinese Curriculum Reform deeply, perfect the curriculum system continuously, and improve the development of Master of Arts in Chinese Studies professionally.
