The blank as a special form of Chinese painting art language, has long been regarded by the artists, it has a very important role in Chinese painting, it can not only build the artistic beauty of the image, reflects the rich cultural connotation and aesthetic thought, and for our art creation and art appreciation is of positive significance.Based on the philosophy of "blank" in Chinese traditional painting origin as the breakthrough point, through the study of the connotation of the "blank" in Chinese traditional painting and contemporary ink painters on the inheritance and development of traditional "blank",compiled a longitudinal veins.
