Research On The Phonetic System Of Dialects In Chaoyang County

Chaoyang city is located in the west of Liaoning province.Chaoyang dialect belongs to Beijing Mandarin.dialect area.But the study of Chaoyang dialect is little.Existing findings mostly focus on conventional research.with speaking-listening method.This thesis studies on the phonetic system by means of phonetics experiment after listening and recording,the paper arranges the dialect sound system,meanwhile the first-degree vowel sounds and mono-syllable tone are also analysed.With the expectation of comprehensive study on the phonetic features.This article is divided into four parts.The introduction part gives a summary of Chaoyang City including geography,history,population situation.This part intrduces Chaoyang dialect research and summary of the existing research results from the perspective of traditional phonetics and experimental phonetics and puts forward the significance of the study.The first chapter is Chaoyang dialect phonetic system.Combined with the pronunciation partner speech material,based on listening and the international phonetic alphabet written,acomprehensively analyse the initial consonants vowels and tone.we describe individually in the place of articulation and pronunciation method.Eventually finishing the study of Chaoyang dialect initial consonant system,vowel system and tone System.The second chapter is the comparison between Chaoyang dialect and mandarin.This part studies the differences between the two in sound,rhyme and tone.Then summarize the similarities and differences between Chaoyang dialect and Mandarin.The third chapter is the phonetic pattern of Chaoyang dialect.This chapter is divided into two parts: vowel pattern and tonal pattern.First,the acoustic experiment of the first order vowel of Chaoyang dialect is conducted,and the acoustic vowel diagram is drawn through the experiment software.The distribution range and the position of each vowel aredescribed.then the paper studies Chaoyang dialect monosyllabic tone from the pitch and duration pattern,at the last,contrasting the experiments of tone pitch with traditional research conclusion.Here are the experimental conclusions.(1)The pattern of Chaoyang dialect monosyllabic tone is Yinping44,Yangping24,Shangsheng212,Qusheng52.(2)The duration pattern of monosyllable tone is Shangsheng>Yangping>Yinping>Qusheng.Previous study of dialect mostly stay in fragmentary hearsay knowledge,that depend entirely on the basis of written,completes the whole tone sound,rhyme,tone of the investigation analysis,however rely solely on subjective perception difficult to accurately record the tone level,the innovation of this paper embodies in the study of phonetic,we use speech experiment software to reseach data analysis,in order to get the accurate phonetic value of dialect tone,then provide a reference for the further research of Chaoyang dialect in the future.
