Experimental Study On The Effects Of Different Color Lights On The Color Fusion

128 students were selected from colleges and universities in Nanjing as subjects, which were randomly divided into two groups, each group includes 64 people. The research included two parts:the first part mainly investigated the influence of time, color combinations and the sequence of combination on the two-color fusion phenomenon. There were 6 time points (5ms,15ms,25ms,35ms,45ms,55ms),3 color combinations (red and green, green and blue, red and blue) and 2 sequence of combination. The second part mainly investigated the influence of time and sequence of combination of 3 colors on the color fusion. There were 6 time points (5ms,15ms, 25ms,35ms,45ms,55ms) and 3 sequences (2 colors and 3 colors).The results showed:(1) In the first part of the experiment, the results showed that the influences of time (F=1304.741,/?=0.00,^=0.957) and color combinations (F=5.704,p=0.020, ?2=0.088) were both extremely significant, the fusion decreased with the increasing time and the fusion of combination of red with blue was deeper than the combinations of red with green and green with blue. The interaction effect of time, combination and sequence was significant, the dispersion of 15ms and 35ms in sequence 1 was greater than that in sequence 2 (F=5.336, p=0.024,?2=0.083);(2) In the second part of the experiment, the results showed that the effect of time and sequences of three colors was extremely significant, which becoming lower with the increasing time(F=2680.37,p=0.000, ?2=0.99), the fusion of the sequence of red, green, blue was better than the other two sequences (F=12.131,p=0.000,?2=0.177). The interaction of time and the number of color was significant, the fusion that changed with time of 3 colors was greater than that of 2 colors.Conclusions:(1) Color fusion closely related with the time of every color. Both of the 2 colors and 3 colors have the best color fusion at the time of 35ms;(2) The fusion of 2 colors is not only influenced by the time, but also influenced by the color combination and sequence; The fusion of 3 colors is also influenced by the sequence of the colors. The sequence of f red-Green-Blue is best;(3) Compared with the fusion of 2 colors, the fusion of 3 colors decrease more quickly with the increasing time.
