Nanjing Tianzhu Palace From The Perspective Of Economic Folklore

This paper mainly studies and analyses from the angle of economic folklore of Tianfei Palace in Nanjing and mainly uses the functionalist theory to explain. It is roughly divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, which describes the reasons and significances of the selected topics, the research methods and theories, literature reviews, and other aspects. The second part is the introductions to the history and current situation of Tianfei Palace in Nanjing. With the literature reviews, this paper describes the picture of the Longjiang Tianfei Palace in the 5th year of the reign of Yongle (1407). At the same time, the introductions to the basic situations of Tianfei Palace in Nanjing after the rehabilitation in 2005 are also made in the second part., which includes the pattern, management, temple and other aspects. The third part is the analysis of economic and cultural background of the rehabilitations for the Palace. The fourth part is to explore the influences that the palace has in the economy of Xiaguan. Firstly, sort out the administrative divisions and economic characteristics, and then from the Fujian business, analyze the relationships between Fujian and the economy of Xiaguan. Finally, explore the link roles the palace plays in the relationships between Fujian and the economy of Xiaguan. The fifth part is descriptions about contemporary economic function of the palace, mainly from the three aspects of promoting function, maintaining function, regulating function to view the Nanjing palace. The sixth part is based on the strategy of One Belt One Road, which reviews the relations of the palace and the maritime Silk Road. Drawing lessons from Mazu Temple’s development experience of other regions, we should strengthen the internal perfections of the Palace, increase exchanges with foreign countries, and realize the all-round exchanges of culture and economy based on the 21st Marine Silk Road.
