Study On The Inscriptions Of The Bricks Of The Six Dynasties In Nanjing

The brick is the main material for the construction of the tomb.There are many types of the brick.The object of study is the inscription on the brick tombs of Six Dynasties in Nanjing.Nanjing as the political, economic and cultural center of the Six Dynasties.In recent years, a large number of tombs Six archaeological material was found.But it is still a blank space for their statistics study and typology analysis. The paper combines the archaeological excavation report,and classify the bricks with archaeological typology method.Identify the relative position of the brick inscriptions arranged and the general rules in accordance with a combination of text brick tombs and the brick masonry structure method.Information contained in the brick inscription, although not as rich as epitaphs, but also reflect a certain degree of social life, is a microcosm of the times.In this paper, the content of the inscriptions and literature combined, on the hand can provide related information about the owner of the tomb,on other hand reducing the political, economic, social life and understanding people's spiritual at that time.
