Intercultural communication has become a part of people's daliy life with the development of economic and culture's globalization. As an international metropolis, China has attracted many international students come to study, their intercultural communication competence should arouse our attention.This paper starts from the definitions and patterns of intercultural communication competence, based on overviews of former reachers, the paper develops an intercultural communication competence model specifically for international students in China. The intercultural communication competence of international students in China is divided into three aspects:knowledge, awareness and skills, and every aspect includes many specific elements. Then, the researcher develops intercultural communication competence tests based on the intercultural communication competence model, and through the collection of measured experimental data, using the computer software to analyze the quality of the paper and the participants of the general characteristics of intercultural communication competence. And in the end, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the issue of how to improve intercultural communication competence students in China.This paper uses the Alpha reliability coefficient to evaluate this test, through the analysis of SPSS, the Alpha coefficient of the test is 0.665, it indicates that the reliability of this test is acceptable, this questionnaire has a certain reference value; On the analysis of validity, the researcher uses KMO and Bartlett inspection, while KMO test coefficient is 0.619> 0.5, and the Bartlett test chi-square statistic significant probability is 0.000< 0.05, indicating that the construct validity of the scale is reasonable. On the anaysis of the overall characteristics of the intercultural communication competence, the paper draws the conclusion as follows:intercultural communication competence has a significant correlation with learner's age and nationality; the time of learning Chinese on the knowledge aspect of intercultural communication is significant; while sex and the time staying in China have certain impacts as well, but less affected.This study is a preliminary exploration of intercultural communication competence test on international students in China, and one version of the intercultural communication competence test paper is provided. However, due to limited conditions and the level of the author's knowledge, this paper can not guarantee that all titles are with good quality, and all aspects of the test is also need constantly improve.
