In modern times, with the boundaryless career era, the employee's career change more frequently. So the staffs employability have gradually been concerned by researchers. In order to explore how to increase the adaptability of the staff for the the unstable career, this study from the staffs personal characteristics, explores employability might play the role in improving the job performance of employees. In this study, the 502 participants from Nanjing, Hefei area conducted this questionnaire survey and analysis. And the effective data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS21.0, carried out the relevant statistical analysis. It revealed the present situation of the Employability of employees and job performance, discussed relationship between the three variables of the study relating to. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1. Employability is a structure of five factors, including career motivation, work and career proactivity, work identity, openness to changes at work, work and career resilience; Job performance is the three factor structure, including interpersonal promotion, task performance, job dedication. The revised scale had good reliability and validity, which can be used to study.2. Employee employability have different degrees of difference in the variables of gender, education level, position variables; Job performance have different degrees of difference in the variables of education level, working years, position, nature of enterprise.3. Proactive personality and employability total scale and its dimensions showed a significant correlation; proactive personality and job performance overall scale and its dimensions showed a significant correlation; employability and job performance total table and its dimensions showed a significant correlation.4. Proactive personality and employability variables had significant positive predictive effect on work performance, proactive personality variables on the employability had significant positive predictive effect on the employability.5. Proactive personality can influence the job performance directly or indirectly, in the indirect influence process, employability as a mediating variable partially mediated the relationship between proactive personality and job performance.
