University is a key period in the development of students bodies and minds,at this stage,studengts not only learn professional courses but also face the problems of employment.Especially for graduates,the first problem is how to choose a job.Therefore,we should try to give some help to the graduates and reduce vocational selection anxiety.441graduates from two universities are selectde as objects of this resrarch.Tools of this research are“Proactive Personality Scale”,“College Students’ Career Adaptability Questionaire”and “Anxiety Questionnaire of College Graduates’ Employment”.The results of this research are as follows:1 The college students’ career adaptability questionnaire has good reliability and validity and it can measure the mainland of students’ career adaptability levels.2 The scores of vocationl selection anxiety of graduates are very high. In part-time job,all of the dimensionality of vocational selection anxiety and the total scores exits significance.In gender, all of the dimensional of vocational selection anxiety exits significance but the total scores.In professional learning, all of the dimensional of vocational selection anxiety and the total scores exit significance but the employment pressure of competition.In nation,there is no significance,In familily lives, all of the dimensional of vocational selection anxiety and the total scores exit significance except the lack of employment support.3 The level of proactive personality of graduates is very high, and graduates’ proactive personality exists significant difference in professional type,familily lives and part-time job,and there is no significant difference in gender and nation.4 The graduates’ career adaptability is not very high and graduates’ career adaptability exists significance in professional type,familily lives and part-time job.In gender, among career control,career confidence and the total scores exists the significance,career concern and career curiosity has no significance.In nation, career curiosity, career confidence and the total scores has the significance,but career control and career concern has no significance.5 There is significant correlation between proactive personality and all of the dimensional of career adaptation.There is significant correlation between proactive personality and all of the dimensional of vocational selection anxiety except the concern about employment prospects.All of the dimensional of career adaptability has the significant correlation with all of the dimensional of career adaptability. Proactive personality can predict the vocational selection anxiety and it can also through career adaptability predict the vocational selection anxiety.Career adaptability is the intervening variable.Career adaptablility adjusting role does not exist in the relationship between proactive personality and vocational selection anxiety.The main result of the study is:career adaptability can directly predict the vocational selection anxiety, proactive personality can predict the vocational selection anxiety and it also can predict the vocational selection anxiety by career adaptability. Career adaptability plays a mediating role between proactive personality and the vocational selection anxiety.
