Bian Lianbao's Poetic Theory And Poetry Creation

Bian Lianbao, a poet at the middle of Qing Dynasty, devoted his whole life to the creation and research of poetry,almost all of his poems are out of "Xing Qing", so that Ji Yun comment on it "richly content". Meanwhile, his poetry theory, mainly displayed in the book named Bing Yu Chang Yu, which is finished in the last few years of his life, has a high value of academic research. But unfortunately, it becomes a pity that his reputation was buried in a long time. Based on it, this article focuses on the research of his poetry theory and writing practice and their close relationship.First of all, the text completely analyses his poetic. His theory is a result of three aspects of Age, Family and Individual, takes "Xing Qing" as the core, "attach importance to knowledge" and "trace to the very root of things" to add. He not only makes a demands on the content of poetry, but provides a way that how to write poetry which you can learn step by step at the same time. His poetic is distinctive at that time, which not only disapproves the empty in content of Shen Yun theory, but also completely different from the later Shen Deqian's Ge Diao theory and Weng Fanggang's Ji Li theory.Then,the last two chapters start with his writing practice from two aspect of "express Xing Qing" and "show off talent and learning", which makes a deeply research on how his poems practice his poetry theory. Specifically speaking, his writing has unfolded a picture scroll in which he describes his real life and expresses his sensitive feelings as a poet. Also, he achieves great achievements in poetry style. Firstly, He is accomplished in writing using almost all the poetry form, and, he creates his own characteristics on artistic style and artistic conception. On the other hand, it shows his achievement of talent and learning on three aspects:strong literary; great rhetorical skill; skilled on all kinds of poetry forms.
