An Analysis Of The Conversation Structure Of The Talk Show "Three People's Walks"

Talk Show is a program form which includes a fixed anchor and a non-fixed guest or audience at the studio with some subject to spread an impromptu discussion.Talk Show has a special pattern of conversational mechanism and rule.The thesis is based on theory of conversation analysis and takes conversations in the representative Talk Show-Behind Headlines with Wen Tao as linguistic data to analyze the whole conversational structure from three aspects: the beginning,main body and the end.Then,it analyzes the partial structure of its conversation from turn taking,adjacency pair and overlapping in order to explore the anchor’s turn taking strategy,the essence and rule of the conversation at the interview.At last,this thesis aims to provide some suggestions for analysis of the same talk show program.
